Business registration in the Philippines is quite a complicated process involving a number of government departments. In an effort to assist investors demystify the process, First Global BYO Corporation will be providing a step-by-step guide on business registration in the Philippines. This article forms Part I of multiple articles that will be appearing on our blog in the weeks and months to come. We hope you find it helpful and informative. The first step in registering a business in the Philippines is business name registration through the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI). If your business address is in Metro Manila, go to the DTI office in Makati. Otherwise proceed to the DTI Provincial Office where your business is located. Fill out the application form and submit it to the Department of Trade and Industry - National Capital Region (NCR), G/F DTI Building, Gil Puyat Avenue, Makati City. Only the owner of the business is authorized to sign all the forms. |
